Hope Grows Farm and Restoration Center

Homesteading

We have been ministering to the broken hearted since 1989. We helped the sexually and relationally broken through Reconciliation Ministries of Michigan for 10 years, followed by over 7 years as the Pastoral Care Director at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. We’ve spent the last four and a half years working with Youth With A Mission, training missionaries around the world. Our greatest desire is to see people healed, whole and understanding the deep love of God for them.

It has always been a dream of ours to restore people in a setting of peace and tranquility, surrounded by God’s beautiful creation and life. Our dream was to, one day, own a farm where we could bring in pastors, leaders, missionaries, business leaders and others where they could be restored, refreshed and healed from life’s hurts. We have also desired to train young men and women in restoring broken people AND in how to live sustainably through natural agriculture, raising animals, cheese making and other means of food preservation. We moved to the Greenville, South Carolina area to look for a farm, or property to build a farm, in order to see this vision finally come to pass.

We found a property in Campobello, South Carolina that has 16.2 acres with rolling pasture, woods, a beautiful 2 acre pond and spectacular mountain views. We were also able to get the property for less than half the going rate per acre in this area.

Looking at this realistically we need to raise around $250,000 to do this well. We are investing our own savings. But we need your help. We need to raise additional money for a larger down-payment, plus additional funding for fences, a barn, outbuildings, a well and a home where we can host broken people who need healing and rest.  We also envision a prayer barn where people could come to worship and express themselves in the arts. Another desire is to have one room prayer cabins throughout the property where people can come for a day or two to seek God in stillness and quiet. Your gifts, no matter how small or large, will enable many to be healed, rested and even more to be trained.

Will you join with us? You can help in several ways. You can contribute financially. You can also help to connect us to someone who might have tractors or other farm equipment, trucks or building materials they would want to donate to Pure Heart Ministries. Another way to help is by sharing this campaign with your friends, family and co-workers. Share this on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ and any other social media site you have. We could easily reach this goal. We have a large amount to raise, so gifts of $100.00, $1,000.00 and even $10,000.00 will be needed to see this vision come to pass. So please help us by spreading the word! All gifts given are tax deductible as we are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Your gift will help bring healing to broken and burned out leaders and other wounded individuals. Your gift will also help us to train MANY others in the skills necessary to bring hope and healing to the nations.
